Heron Creek Golf & Country Club will host a golf tournament for the North Port High School Navy JROTC.

The event will be May 27, 2023. A 4-Player scramble, check in at 7:00am, tee times start at 8:00 am. Cost is $125/player and includes, golf, food and prizes.

Proceeds of the event will go toward the JROTC program, which includes:

–Awarded Distinguished Unit for an unprecedented SIX OF THE LAST SEVEN YEARS!!

-Ten of 2022 graduated cadets are now serving in the U.S. Military on active duty

-Three of graduated cadets are attending College ROTC to become Military Officers

-Competed at five Academic Brain Brawl Competitions earning numerous trophies & individual medals, competed at the State Championship, placing 7th in the State of Florida

-Travel fees to compete for school funds. Without these funds, they cannot compete or raise school program money or receive scholarships.

They would not have been able to afford to operate at this level without the funding from this Golf Tournament.
