Inaugural Suncoast Jr. Match Play Invitational

The area’s TOP High School Boy Golfers will be testing their golf skills at 3 great private courses – Heritage Oaks Golf & Country Club, Palm Aire Country Club, and Laurel Oak Country Club from July 31st to August 2nd, 2020.

The format is both stroke and match play* and all will be captured with live
scoring/leaderboard and various media outlets along with live footage via
internet for final match.

To be eligible, the high school golfers handicap index must be 6.0 or below.

The goal of this unique junior event is to bring the TOP High School Boy Golfers together by invitation from Tampa Bay to SW Florida to showcase their talents on 3 different course layouts through both individual stroke and match play to crown a champion. A limited number of open slots are also available.

* College golf is moving towards more match play events and in fact the SEC Golf championship is match play as well as the national championship.  College coaches are very interested in accessing high school golfers skill sets in both individual and match play format.  College coaches plan to follow this event.
