Lely Resort – Flamingo Island

Naples Premier Golf Resort

Considered among the nation’s premier public courses, Lely Resort’s par 72, 7,171-yard Flamingo Island course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.—one of the game’s great masters. Many of Flamingo Island’s holes feature white sand bunkers outlining perfectly-sculpted hourglass fairways and large, undulating Bermuda grass greens.

The surrounding water is plentiful and shimmers iridescent in the tropical sunlight, offering golfers who play Flamingo Island an unforgettable backdrop they won’t forget.

Lely opened to the public in 1989, with multiple teeing stations that make the course very playable for all levels of golfers. The course features an unforgettable signature hole: a par 3, 200-yard Hole 5—a curved and rolling fairway entirely surrounded by shimmering water, with bunkers built along one side and two small bridges its only connection to the mainland. Come play one of Naples’ signature public golf courses, The Flamingo Island!
