In 2019, River Greens South in Avon Park will be celebrating 50 years in business here in Florida. Owned and operated by the same man who started it back in 1969 with his father and brother after relocating from West Lafayette, Ohio. Their sister course River Greens North is still located in Ohio and in business today. Throughout the years, the Davis Family’s commitment has stayed the same: To make you feel like family from the moment you walk through the doors and to make the entire experience one that makes you want to tell everyone you know. Rodney and Lisa have seen many faces through their doors throughout the years, but one golf fans may know well is Lexi Thompson. She competed in the Bagwell Junior Tournament at the age of 10, beating out 17-18 years old! She is now a rock star in the LPGA.
