PGA TOUR celebrates $3 billion

The PGA TOUR and its tournaments have surpassed $3 billion in all-time charitable giving, just six years after surpassing $2 billion in 2014. A record $204.3 million charitable contribution in 2019 lifted the all-time total to $3.05 billion, which includes donations made by the Presidents Cup and tournaments on the PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, Korn Ferry Tour, Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR Canada, PGA TOUR Latinoamérica and PGA TOUR Series-China.
The Presidents Cup is able to help make an impact worldwide as each player, captain and captain’s assistant receives an equal portion of the funds generated to donate to the charity of his choice. Like many of the players, Captain Ernie Els chose a charity close to his heart – Els for Autism.
