Women’s Golf thrives along the Gulf Coast
The LPGA Amateur Golf Association™ is a women’s golf community that provides opportunities for women to connect and play golf.
It is the world’s largest network of women golfers, with 12,000 members in over 100 chapters across the US, Canada and Bermuda.
On the west coast of Florida there are three regional chapters that include: Tampa Bay, Manatee County, and Southwest Florida.
Chapters host a variety of casual get-togethers, social & networking events, clinics, weekly playing opportunities, and leagues. The golf events are designed to appeal to all skill levels, so whether you are a beginning golfer or someone looking to play competitively, there are a variety of events and levels of players.
In addition to local events, the 2020 Tournament Schedule includes a Scramble event at Pinehurst Resort, Regional Cup Qualifiers and Sectional Qualifiers at a host of great resorts; all leading to the 2020 Championship Finals in November at La Cantera Resort in San Antonio, TX.
Through their association with the LPGA, members receive discounts on apparel, equipment, travel, and greens fees as well as free entrance (member plus one guest) to all LPGA, Symetra, and LPGA Legends Tour events in the US and Canada.
